Universal trainers for school and play are chosen mainly based on how quickly they can be put on and how much room they leave for the toes. The upper is made of breathable mesh with a fine dotted pattern throughout, complemented by smooth panels over the toe, sides, and heel. A wide strap with Velcro fastening runs across the instep, beneath which are elastic laces threaded through eyelets that maintain the set width and do not need to be tied. The ankle area is lined with mesh, and there is a loop sewn onto the heel, which allows the shoe to be pulled on the foot. The sole consists of a thin rubber outsole with a smooth side and a slightly sculpted profile.

  • Velcro fastening — the strap across the instep can be adjusted to the width of the foot and fastens with a single motion without adult assistance.
  • Elastic laces — stretchy laces keep the instep secure, eliminating the need for tying and preventing loose knots throughout the day.
