For toddlers, shoes are chosen mainly based on how quickly they can be put on a foot that does not want to stay still. This model opens with a Velcro strap across the instep, which can be flipped wide open, making it easy to place the foot into the shoe and then close the strap again. The textile upper is adorned with a print of bear faces distributed all over, including the sides and heel. The entire toe is covered with a rubber trim with horizontal ridges, which transitions into a border running around the shoe. Inside the sole is a layer of EVA, which helps keep the pair lightweight, and there is a sewn-on loop at the heel.
