Nail caps for larger adult cats are a gentle way to protect furniture, doors, wallpaper, and your own hands from sharp claws. The package contains 20 soft plastic caps, which are usually sufficient for all four paws of one cat. The caps are size M and according to the seller's chart, they are intended for cats weighing 5 to 7.5 kg. Each cap is applied individually to one claw and covers its sharp tip. This way, the cat can still naturally stretch its paws, but the claw tip no longer leaves scratches on the sofa or curtains.
Size M is designed for sturdier adult cats whose claws are thicker and longer than those of smaller cats. Each cap has a curved shape that follows the natural curve of the claw, and it is hollow inside, making it easy to slip onto the claw. The caps are made of soft plastic and are flexible, allowing the cat to walk, jump, and rest normally. Larger cats have more strength in their paws, so the caps are particularly useful where the cat likes to scratch upholstery, carpets, or wooden frames. The caps are attached to the claw with glue specifically designed for nail caps, which is not included in this package and needs to be prepared separately.
- Product Type – soft nail caps for cats
- Size – M
- Suitable for – larger adult cats weighing 5 to 7.5 kg
- Material – plastic
- Shape – curved to fit the shape of the claw with an opening for application
- Attachment – with glue for caps, which is not included in the package
- Use – protection for furniture, doors, wallpaper, and skin against scratching
- Contents of the Package – 20 size M nail caps
Before applying, gently trim the cat's claws so that the cap fits snugly against the base of the claw. Apply a small amount of glue inside the cap, place it on the claw, and hold it briefly. After application, distract the cat with play or treats so it does not immediately try to lick the caps off. The thicker claws of larger cats grow evenly, so the caps gradually fall off, and you can easily replace any missing pieces with new ones from the same package. The application is best done in a calm environment when the cat is relaxed and rested.
Soft nail caps in size M are a practical aid for households with a sturdier cat. A package containing 20 caps will cover the claws of one cat and helps protect sofas, armchairs, curtains, and door frames. Size M is suitable for cats weighing 5 to 7.5 kg according to the seller's chart, so please check your cat's weight before ordering. The caps also reduce the risk of scratching during cuddling and playing, which is especially appreciated by families with children. The cat can still use its favourite scratching post and stretch its paws as usual.
