The braided heat shrink tubing combines a flexible textile sleeve with the ability to shrink when heated. This piece has an internal diameter of 4 mm and a length of 50 m, making it suitable for thin wires, individual cables, and smaller cable bundles. When heated with hot air, the sleeve shrinks at a ratio of 2:1 and tightly wraps around the protected wiring. The braided surface is flexible, highly resistant to abrasion, and according to the manufacturer, helps to dampen noise from cabling. Fifty metres in one continuous piece represents the largest packaging of this diameter and will last a long time even with daily work on cabling.

Shrinking begins at approximately 80 °C and the tubing achieves full shrinkage at around 120 °C. A hot air gun can be used for heating, and the manufacturer also mentions the possibility of using a lighter. Once cooled, a continuous textile layer remains on the cable, protecting the insulation from mechanical damage, abrasion, and heat. The material is self-extinguishing with a flammability class of VW-1 and withstands operating temperatures from −40 to +150 °C, making it suitable for use in cars or electrical appliances that heat up during operation. The tubing protects connections, cable terminations, and extended wires, and allows you to gradually organise dozens of thin cables into neat bundles.

Select the size according to the diameter of the cable. The manufacturer recommends tubing approximately 3 mm larger than the diameter of the protected wiring. For flat cables or bundles with a rectangular cross-section, add the width and height, multiply the result by two, divide by 3.14, and add 3 mm. You will receive fifty metres of tubing as one continuous piece, from which you can cut sections as needed before shrinking. Slide it onto the cable before connecting connectors, move it to the desired position, and evenly heat it along its entire length.

The braided heat shrink tubing with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 50 m is an excellent choice for electricians, service workshops, and cable bundle manufacturing.
