Before applying, thoroughly clean the sole of dust, dirt, and grease, and allow it to dry completely. Trace the outline of the sole or just its parts onto the tape, cut out the shape, peel off the backing paper, and firmly press the film from the centre out to the edges. You can enhance adhesion by briefly warming it with a hairdryer. The tape adheres best to clean, flat, and smooth surfaces; for soles with deep or uneven patterns, adhesion may be lower. Durability varies depending on the sole material, frequency of use, and the surface you walk on. The tape is designed to protect the sole and improve grip, not to serve as a waterproof layer. When the applied piece wears out, carefully remove it, clean the sole again, and apply a new piece.
