The analog barometer is a simple home weather station that monitors atmospheric pressure and helps estimate what weather is approaching based on its changes. The round dial has a diameter of 108 mm and is bordered by an elegant gold frame, making the device a great fit for the living room, study, cottage, or office. The hand indicates pressure on a dual scale, in hectopascals as well as in millimetres of mercury. The measuring range is 960–1060 hPa with a resolution of 1 hPa, which covers the typical fluctuations in air pressure in our conditions. For the most accurate readings, place the barometer indoors away from direct sunlight, heating, and drafts. The most telling observations come from monitoring pressure changes over several hours, where a rapid drop usually indicates worsening weather and rising pressure suggests improvement. The dial should be wiped occasionally with a dry soft cloth, without the use of aggressive cleaning agents. When recessing into a panel, first drill or cut a hole of the correct diameter and carefully insert the barometer so that the flexible mounts fit snugly. If you wish to hang it, a single nail or screw is sufficient, and the device can be hung via the hole at the back. After placing, allow the barometer to settle for a while before you begin monitoring its readings.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
