The analog soil moisture meter helps to water plants at the moment they really need it, rather than by guesswork. The metal probe is inserted into the soil and the needle on the clear scale will quickly show the current moisture level at the root zone. The total length of the meter is 26 cm, allowing it to reach deeper pots, window boxes, and flower beds. The reading is taken from an analog scale ranging from 1 to 10, divided into three colour bands. The meter is suitable for houseplants, herbs, vegetables, and greenhouse plants.
The colour differentiation of the scale makes it easy to understand even without experience in gardening. The red band DRY in the range of 1 to 3 indicates dry soil and time for watering. The green band MOIST from 4 to 7 shows adequately moist soil, which is suitable for most plants. The blue band WET from 8 to 10 warns of wet soil, where it is better to wait before watering. The measuring probe is 17.5 cm long, allowing it to measure moisture at a depth where the surface of the soil does not reveal it.

When measuring, insert the probe vertically into the soil approximately to the level of the plant roots and wait a moment for the needle to stabilise. The meter is intended only for soil and substrate, not for measuring in water or other liquids. For larger containers or beds, it is advisable to measure moisture in multiple locations and compare the values. After use, wipe the probe dry and replace the cap on the tip to protect the meter when stored. Do not hammer the probe into hard or stony soil, but gently insert it into loose soil. By measuring regularly, you will soon gain an overview of how quickly the soil in individual containers dries out, allowing you to easily adjust watering to the needs of specific plants and the season.

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
