The analog aneroid barometer in classic nautical style measures atmospheric pressure purely mechanically and helps estimate what weather is approaching. The dial features a scale of 950 to 1070 hPa alongside a scale in millimetres of mercury, allowing you to read values in the units you are accustomed to. The instrument is housed in a shiny gold-coloured case with a prominent circular bezel, reminiscent of a ship's porthole. The barometer is mounted on the wall using two mounting holes in the bezel and is suitable for a living room, study, hallway, cottage, or clubhouse. It does not require batteries or electric power for its function.
The white dial is clear, and in addition to the numerical scales, it features pictorial weather symbols, namely sun, cloudiness, and rain. By observing the position of the hand, you can easily tell if a change is imminent. The centre of the dial is adorned with a decorative compass rose and an ornamental knob. Next to the black measuring hand, there is also a slender gold hand that can be set to the current value and later used to monitor whether the pressure is rising or falling. If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
