This set of four short valves for rims is designed for wheels with tubeless tyres. The valves are made from aluminium alloy, making them lightweight yet sturdy. Unlike standard rubber valves, they do not slide into the rim but are secured with a screw-in nut that holds them in place. The total height of one valve is 3.9 cm, so it protrudes only slightly from the rim and does not appear obtrusive. They are suitable as replacements for worn valves or as a cosmetic enhancement for wheels.

Each valve features a flared head at the bottom with a rubber sealing ring that sits against the inner side of the rim. From the outside, the valve is tightened with a hexagonal nut, ensuring a secure connection and preventing air from escaping around the hole in the rim. The diameter of the bottom head is 1.8 cm. The top part is covered by a hexagonal cap, which screws onto the valve thread and protects it from dust, water, and debris from the road. The cap is made from the same material as the valve body, giving the set a cohesive appearance. These valves are suitable for rims of passenger cars, trucks, and motorcycles with tubeless tyres.

The valve is inserted into the hole in the rim from the inside, so it is necessary to first remove the tyre from the rim. After inserting the valve, the nut is screwed on from the outside, which should be tightened carefully to ensure that the seal is evenly pressed against the rim. The tyre is then returned to the rim, inflated to the recommended pressure, and the cap is screwed onto the valve. Before installation, it is advisable to check that the hole in the rim is clean and free of burrs, so the seal fits properly. Therefore, it is best to entrust the installation to a tyre service or perform it alongside a tyre change. The cap only needs to be unscrewed during each inflation and replaced after checking the pressure. When washing the wheels, simply rinse the valves with water and wipe them with a soft cloth without aggressive cleaning agents.
