Overview
82 mm Lens Cap with Loss Prevention Strap Clip-On with Central Press Black Plastic For Canon Nikon Sony Fuji Pentax and Samsung

The 82 mm lens cap is a clip-on cover for the front of the lens that protects the glass when you are not taking photos. It fits easily in a bag, on the go, or at home on a shelf, where dust quickly settles on exposed glass. The cap is held in place by a central press mechanism: press the two grips in the centre with your fingers, place the cap on, and upon releasing, it will snap into place behind the edge of the lens. You can remove it in the same way. The cap is black, made of plastic, and has a simple shape without unnecessary protrusions.

Included in the package is a loss prevention strap, which you can attach the cap to the lens or camera. When you remove the cap while shooting, it will hang on the strap, and you won't have to search for it in your pockets or in the grass. The cap corresponds to a diameter of 82 mm, which is the measurement manufacturers indicate on the lens next to the symbol ø, usually on the front or inside the cap supplied with the lens. Therefore, please verify this measurement on your lens before ordering, as a cap of a different diameter will not fit the lens. The grips are positioned in the centre of the cap, making it easy for your fingers to reach them, and you won't have to grab the thin edge when removing it. You can thus attach and detach it quickly without touching the lens.

Always attach the cap to a clean lens and check that there are no dirt or sand on the edge of the lens before attaching. The surface of the cap can be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth as needed, without aggressive cleaning agents. When storing the lens for an extended period, always attach the cap to prevent dust from settling on the glass and to avoid fingerprints. The cap is also practical as a replacement for the original cap that has been lost or damaged, and due to its low profile, it takes up almost no space in a bag or pocket.

The 82 mm lens cap is a simple accessory that protects the front lens from dust, fingerprints, and scratches during transport. The central press allows for quick attachment and detachment with one hand. The loss prevention strap keeps the cap with the camera even during shooting. It is compatible with lenses from brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax, and others, provided they have a diameter of 82 mm. It is suitable for beginner photographers as well as experienced users who need a replacement cap for their bag.
