The ventilated metal lens hood is suitable for lenses with a filter thread of 77 mm and prevents side light from entering the lens. When shooting against the sun or in bright light, it reduces flare and haze in images, improving contrast. The hood easily screws onto the thread on the front of the lens without any adapter. The hood also includes a lens cap that protects the front lens element in a bag or during transport. The set is suitable for digital SLRs and mirrorless cameras from various manufacturers.
The body of the hood is made of metal with a black finish and features longitudinal openings typical of ventilated hoods. According to the manufacturer, you can continue to use the lens cap and filter with the hood attached, so you do not need to switch them during shooting. The cap is attached and removed by pressing two grips in the middle, which can be done with one hand. The hood is useful for photographing landscapes, architecture, sports, and portraits outdoors in bright sunlight.
It can be used throughout the year. It is helpful in snowy mountains, by water, or near shiny surfaces that strongly reflect light. Before attaching the hood, clean the lens thread and gently screw on the hood without applying unnecessary force. The metal surface of the hood can be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. Before storing the camera in a bag, attach the cap to prevent the front lens element from getting dirty or scratched.
The ventilated metal hood with cap is a practical accessory for photographers shooting outdoors on bright days or against the light. - We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
