The manufacturer has used a springless design for the cap. Instead of a metal spring that weakens over time, the cap is held in the lens thread by flexible plastic grips that retract when the centre is pressed and return to position when released. This design reduces issues with aging and mechanism failure. On the edge of the cap, there is a hole for attaching the strap, which can then be secured to the lens or camera. You can easily determine the correct size. The thread diameter is usually indicated on the front of the lens or on its side next to the symbol Φ, or on the original cap. This cap is designed for a value of 49 mm. The cap attaches directly to the thread on the front of the lens, just like a filter or a threaded lens hood. Before attaching, it is advisable to wipe the edge of the lens to remove dust and then store the cap in a way that prevents dirt from getting on its inner side. You can remove the strap at any time if you don't need it. The cap only needs to be wiped occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth to prevent dust from transferring to the lens.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
