Overview
2 pcs Naturehike EXT1 Trekking Poles Telescopic 62–135 cm Three-part Carbon 3K with EVA Grip for Mountains and Long Treks

A set of two telescopic trekking poles from Naturehike EXT1 in the longest version is designed for taller hikers venturing into the mountains, on long treks, or brisk walks in nature. Each pole consists of three parts made from carbon 3K, making it sturdy yet lightweight. The length of both poles can be independently adjusted within the range of 62–135 cm using external quick-release locks. When collapsed, each pole measures 62 cm, allowing for easy attachment to a backpack or storage in a boot. The manufacturer recommends this length for individuals approximately 170–190 cm tall.

Walking with two poles distributes the load across both sides of the body, relieving stress on the knees during descents and providing stability on rocky and slippery terrain. The EVA foam grips fit comfortably in hand and wick away sweat, while the adjustable straps transfer force from the wrist. One pole weighs approximately 169 g, making the total weight of the pair around 338 g. The nylon locks are operated with a single lever, and their tension can be fine-tuned with a screw. Thanks to the scale on the shaft, you can set both poles to the same length in no time without unnecessary trial and error.

The tips made of hardened tungsten steel grip well on rock, gravel, and frozen paths. For asphalt and paving, use the rubber protectors that absorb shocks and protect both the surface and the tips themselves. The mud baskets prevent the poles from sinking into soft ground, while the larger snow baskets are appreciated in winter. Before setting out, always check that the locks are securely fastened and do not extend the poles beyond the maximum length mark. After a hike in the rain, disassemble the parts, wipe them down, and allow them to air dry.

The pair of Naturehike EXT1 trekking poles with a length of 62–135 cm is a lightweight and compact gear for taller hikers in the mountains, forests, and on long walks. The carbon shaft eases the strain on hands and shoulders, and the quick-release locks allow for rapid adjustment of length to suit the terrain's slope. The manufacturer states that each pole can support a weight of up to 120 kg. The included baskets and tip protectors prepare the poles for mud, snow, and firm surfaces all year round.
