The chisel with a blade width of 10 mm represents a universal midpoint between narrow detail tools and wide chisels for rough work. The medium rounded gouge profile removes wood in regular curved shavings and is suitable for both shaping and hollowing out depressions. The blade is created through hand forging and expands from a narrower neck into a curved edge. The chisel comes sharpened and with a fitted handle, so you can use it immediately. It is ideal for working on sculptures, reliefs, bowls, and other wooden products. Thanks to its medium width, it can quickly remove wood as well as shape rounded surfaces more delicately, making it a frequently used tool in the workshop.
The wooden handle has a cylindrical shape and fits securely in the palm when guiding the cut by hand. The blade is connected to the handle by a metal conical transition, which reinforces the most stressed part of the tool. The chisel is also designed for use with a mallet, which allows for faster material removal. The manufacturer intentionally fits the handle with a slight play, as it gradually settles more firmly with the strikes of the mallet. A small gap at the handle is therefore not a cause for concern upon unpacking. The slightly curved blade allows for work in deeper areas without the handle hitting the surrounding wood.

When roughing, remove wood in several layers and avoid trying to take off too much at once. Guide the chisel in the direction of the grain to prevent tearing the surface and to keep the cut clean. When working with a mallet, hold the tool firmly and adjust the strikes according to the hardness of the wood. After use, clean the blade of sawdust and resin and wipe it dry. For longer storage, treat it with a thin layer of oil and store it so that the edge does not hit other tools. Regular honing will keep the edge in good condition.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
