Parking Heaters
Auxiliary car heaters provide heating of the interior and engine without the engine needing to run. They are used to pre-heat the vehicle in cold periods and increase comfort in everyday use and during longer stops, for example in vans or motorhomes.
Parking Heaters
Cold weather significantly affects both comfort and the functioning of a vehicle, which is exactly why auxiliary car heaters have their practical uses. They make it possible to warm the interior or engine without starting up, something drivers appreciate on morning starts and during longer parking in winter conditions.
A frequently used solution is diesel auxiliary heating, which suits both passenger and commercial vehicles. There are also versions focused solely on warming the cabin, or systems that can also pre-heat the engine. Output and construction adapt to the size and type of vehicle.
The differences between the individual versions lie in output, fuel consumption and the method of control. Some devices are started manually, others allow remote control or setting via a timer. The complexity of installation and the way it is wired into the vehicle also play a significant role.
The key factors are the size of the interior, the type of vehicle and the required heating output. For smaller cars a compact solution is enough, while for vans or motorhomes more powerful car heaters are used. A suitably chosen system contributes to greater comfort, easier starts and reduced moisture inside the cabin.
