Cassia Fistula Seeds 50 pcs Tropical Ornamental Tree Golden Shower Yellow Flowers for Growing in the Garden or Pot Exotic Timber
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Cassia fistula is an impressive ornamental tree from the legume family, popular for its large, downward-hanging inflorescences. This pack contains 50 seeds, from which you can grow your own plants with characteristic bright yellow flowers. In adulthood, it reaches a height of around 10 to 15 metres and is a sought-after element of garden architecture in its native regions of India, Pakistan, and Southeast Asia. Among enthusiasts of exotic timber cultivation, it is a popular species that combines attractive appearance with low maintenance.
Germination of the seeds occurs best after preparation – the seed is usually lightly scarified and soaked in warm water. After 24 hours, the seeds are sown in a light substrate and kept at a temperature of around 25 °C. The first leaves typically appear within a few weeks. The plant thrives in sunlight, appreciates ample moisture in summer, and should be moved to a frost-free, bright room during the colder months.

After flowering, long cylindrical pods form on the plant, in which more seeds mature. Cassia fistula is not only an ornament for any space but also a botanical curiosity that every lover of tropical flora will appreciate. For successful cultivation, sufficient light, adequate watering, quality well-draining substrate, and a stable warm location for most of the year are sufficient.
