Overview
Cassia Fistula Golden Shower Seeds 10 pcs Ornamental Tree with Yellow Flowers for Growing in the Garden or in a Pot Exotic Plant

Cassia fistula, also known as golden shower or candle tree, is one of the most beautiful ornamental tropical trees. The package contains 10 seeds from which you can grow your own exotic hardwood with a distinctive appearance. The mature tree grows to a height of 10 to 20 metres and during the flowering period, its crown is covered with striking hanging clusters of vibrant yellow flowers that can reach lengths of up to 40 cm. In tropical regions, this plant is valued not only for its ornamental value but also for its use in traditional folk medicine.

The seeds will grow into a robust plant suitable for cultivation in the garden, on a sunny terrace, or in a larger pot that you can move to a bright room during the cooler months. You can enhance germination by soaking the seeds in warm water for 12 to 24 hours beforehand. The seedlings are characterised by rapid growth and, with ample heat and sunlight, can produce their first flowers after just a few years of cultivation. Cassia fistula is the national tree of Thailand and a popular feature in parks and avenues throughout Southeast Asia.

Growing golden shower from seeds is an interesting way to add something unusual to your collection of indoor or garden plants. Young seedlings should be protected from frost and should be kept at temperatures above 10 °C during winter. During the growing season, the plant thrives with regular watering and a sunny location with enough space for root development. The tree will gradually form a wide crown and, in maturity, will reward you with abundant flowering, which is among the most spectacular for hardwoods of tropical origin. The grown specimen is suitable as a solitary feature in the garden, a focal point in a conservatory, or as an unusual plant in a large pot on the terrace.
