Table napkins
A festive table, a birthday party and an everyday lunch all call for napkins that protect clothing and complete the place setting. Table napkins include plain and printed paper napkins, napkins made of bamboo paper, round paper lace doilies for cakes and reusable cloth napkins in linen, cotton, satin or polyester.
Table napkins
Paper napkins are mostly sold in packs of 20, have two plies and measure 33 × 33 cm. Alongside plain ones, there are napkins with floral and ornamental patterns, with butterflies and other designs for children's parties, and black and gold napkins for 30th, 40th and 50th birthdays. Some are printed with food-safe water-based ink, and some are made of bamboo paper.
Paper doilies are round, 215 mm in diameter and come in packs of 100. They go under cakes and pastries on a tray or plate.
Cloth napkins are reusable. The 45 × 45 cm napkins in 100% linen and the 50 × 50 cm cotton or linen napkins with a hemstitched edge suit a formal table. Shiny satin napkins measuring 30 × 30 cm and plain 40 × 40 cm polyester napkins are used at weddings, parties and banquets.
When choosing table napkins, the occasion matters most. Paper napkins are practical for parties with many guests, while cloth napkins can be washed after use and used again.
