Overview
Seeds of Abies alba European Silver Fir, 10 pcs, coniferous tree, green needles, planting in the garden and forest

The European Silver Fir is one of the traditional European conifers, creating majestic trees with a regular pyramidal crown and dark green needles. The species Abies alba, internationally known as European Silver Fir, is a popular choice not only for bonsai growers but also for gardeners who have enough space for planting a mature tree. The package contains a total of 10 pcs of seeds, from which you can grow your own young seedlings after pre-sowing. The tree is long-lived, tolerates cooler mountainous climates, and is traditionally found in Central European forests. Growing from seed is an interesting activity for anyone interested in cultivating trees from the ground up.

Growing the European Silver Fir from seed is a process that requires patience, but the reward is a beautiful tree with a long lifespan. Young seedlings can be gradually acclimatised after germination and later transplanted to a permanent location where the plant can develop undisturbed for many years. The tree is robust in maturity and creates a regular architecture of branches, making it stand out in the open space of a park, garden plot, or natural planting. Essential oil is extracted from the needles in some regions, and the wood is traditionally used in construction and carpentry. This species is a suitable candidate for anyone who wants to cultivate a long-lived conifer from a small seed and observe its growth over the years.
