Hanging Christmas decorations
Doors, windows, walls and ceilings can be decorated with pieces made for hanging. Hanging Christmas decorations include metal, wooden, acrylic and stained-glass-effect pendants, door decorations, garlands and banners, plastic snowflakes and spiral hangers.
Hanging Christmas decorations
Retro-style metal pendants measure 12 × 12.5 cm and are shaped like an aeroplane with a reindeer, while others are hand-painted. Stained-glass-effect houses and guitars of about 8 cm and round 2D acrylic pieces of 8 × 8 cm with a nativity scene or winter landscape let light through, so they suit a window.
Round wooden decorations 20 cm in diameter, door hangers of about 30 cm and 23 × 13 cm door corner pieces go on the front door. Small figures of elves, reindeer or cats hang from a door handle, shelf or window.
Garlands 1.8 to 4 m long, made of artificial greenery, paper or with snowflakes, stretch above the fireplace or window or along the banister. Vertical 180 × 90 cm banners and a semicircular 90 × 45 cm bunting banner cover a larger area of door or wall. Glittery plastic snowflakes of 11 and 15 cm and 100 cm spiral hangers hang from the ceiling.
When choosing hanging Christmas decorations, the location matters most. Translucent stained-glass-effect and acrylic pendants suit windows, wood and metal suit doors, and light snowflakes and spirals suit the ceiling.
