This flexible steel print surface featuring CryoGrip Glacier offers universal properties suitable for a wide range of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, and technical filaments up to a nozzle temperature of 300 °C. Compared to the Frostbite surface, the Glacier has a finer texture and creates a smoother surface on the underside of the model. The adhesion remains very high, yet less aggressive, making it suitable for more complex printing tasks or materials prone to warping.
The dimension of 256 × 256 mm perfectly fits Bambu Lab printers P1, P1S, X1, X1 Carbon, and X1E. The Glacier surface allows for quality printing even with materials requiring higher bed temperatures. Thanks to the carefully designed surface finish, prints maintain stable adhesion during heating and allow for easy model removal once cooled. The flexible steel construction enables easy release of the model by bending the surface, minimising the risk of damage to the print.
The surface is double-sided, increasing its lifespan and allowing for the selection of the ideal texture depending on the type of filament. The finer Glacier surface creates a clean and aesthetic appearance for the first layer and is suitable for precise prints as well as technical parts. The surface can be cleaned with water and mild soap, or alcohol if necessary.
