The EBB 42 CAN control board is designed for users who require stable feed head control, precise temperature measurement, and reliable data transmission in 3D printers. The board utilises the CAN bus, which is a data system ensuring fast, secure, and robust communication between the various parts of the device. This significantly reduces the amount of wiring and achieves higher reliability. The board features the ADXL345 measurement chip, which records vibrations during printer movements. The TMC2209 control module is designed for the feed head motor and ensures its quiet, smooth, and precise operation. The board supports highly accurate PT100 and PT1000 temperature sensors, which can be connected in two-wire or four-wire configurations, selectable via a switch. Installation Instructions:
The board is attached to the feed head motor using standard screws. After mechanical attachment, the CAN bus is connected, and it is decided whether to activate the 120R termination resistor based on cable length. Subsequently, power, motor, fans, temperature sensors, and switches are connected. If independent power via USB is required, the appropriate jumper position is set. The ADXL345 measurement chip is connected to the main printer board for vibration calibration. In the Klipper system, CAN communication is then configured and parameters are set according to the motor and printer used.
