Overview
Diamond Drill Bit 18 mm with M10 Thread for Angle Grinder Soldered Diamond Black Dry Drilling into Tiles Marble Granite and Glass

The diamond drill bit with a diameter of 18 mm is designed for drilling holes in hard building materials using an angle grinder. It features an internal thread M10 on the clamping side, allowing it to screw directly onto the spindle of the grinder without the need for a chuck or additional adapters. The cutting part is covered with soldered diamond grains, which can handle ceramic tiles, slabs, sintered tiles, marble, granite, concrete, and glass. The diameter of 18 mm indicates the size of the hole that will be created after drilling, so choose the diameter according to the pipe or element that will pass through the hole. The drill bit is intended for dry drilling, without the need to add water. It is suitable for passing water pipes, holes for taps, fittings and cable glands, and will be useful for tilers, plumbers, and DIY enthusiasts during bathroom or kitchen renovations.

  • Diameter – 18 mm.
  • M10 Thread – direct attachment to the angle grinder with M10 spindle thread.
  • Soldered Diamond – diamond grains firmly bonded to the tool body across the entire cutting section.
  • Dry Drilling – drilling without water; cooling with water may prolong tool life.
  • Chip Removal – two longitudinal cutouts in the casing for the removal of drilled material.
  • Materials – ceramic tiles, slabs, sintered tiles, marble, granite, concrete, and glass.
  • Colour – black.
  • Contents of the Package – 1 piece of 18 mm diamond drill bit.

When starting to drill, hold the grinder at an angle of approximately 45 degrees and carefully create a shallow groove in the surface in the shape of a crescent. Once the drill bit catches, gradually straighten the grinder to a vertical position of 90 degrees and drill with slight pressure. This procedure will prevent slipping on the smooth glaze and keep the edge of the hole clean. Allow the drill bit to work under its own weight and do not apply excessive force to avoid overheating the diamond layer. Before first use, check that the drill bit is securely tightened on the spindle and that the grinder runs without vibrations and wobbling. During prolonged drilling, take short breaks, or you may cool the cutting part with water, which will extend the tool's life. Use protective goggles, gloves, and a respirator, as fine dust is generated during dry drilling.

The 18 mm diamond drill bit with M10 thread is a practical addition to any angle grinder. Thanks to the soldered diamond, it can handle hard tiles and natural stone, creating a clean hole without chipped edges. It is suitable for work on construction sites as well as at home, where you need to quickly create passages for water pipes, holes for taps, fittings, and cable glands. The attachment to angle grinder M10 is quick, and the drill bit can be easily replaced with another diameter. The tool is compact, making it easy to store in a tool case, keeping it always at hand. Dry drilling saves time, as there is no need to prepare water or cooling. The result is precise holes in tiles, marble, and granite without the need to purchase an expensive core drilling machine.
