The diamond core drill bit with a diameter of 18 mm is designed for drilling clean circular holes in hard and brittle materials. It is equipped with an internal thread of M14, allowing it to be screwed directly onto the spindle of an angle grinder without the need for an additional chuck. The cutting edge is fitted with vacuum brazed diamond grains, which can handle ceramic tiles, slabs, marble, granite, stone surfaces, and glass. The core bit is intended for dry drilling without water cooling, but it can also be used with water for extended work. It is suitable for tilers, plumbers, and DIY enthusiasts during bathroom and kitchen renovations or when laying tiles.

  • Hole diameter 18 mm – the core bit creates a hole with a diameter of 18 mm in tiles, slabs, stone, or glass.
  • M14 thread – attachment directly to the angle grinder with M14 thread.

When working, we recommend starting with the core bit tilted at approximately 45° to create a crescent-shaped groove on the surface, which will prevent slipping on the smooth glaze. Once the core bit is held in the correct position, gradually straighten it to a vertical position and drill with a gentle circular motion and even pressure. This procedure helps maintain a clean edge around the hole and reduces the risk of chipping the glaze. The plastic tube in which the core bit is supplied facilitates transportation and storage in the workshop.
