Natural stones bring a piece of nature indoors, and their colours and textures stand out on a shelf, in a bookcase or on a desk. Choose from clusters and geodes, crystal points, tumbled stones, spheres, pyramids and obelisks made of amethyst, rose quartz, rock crystal, citrine or selenite.

Every stone is one of a kind, because nature shaped its form, size and shade through long geological processes. Amethyst clusters and geodes full of violet crystals become a striking focal point in any room, while small tumbled stones look great in bowls and vases or make a gift for collectors. Larger pieces often come with a wooden or metal stand on which they sit securely.
Crystals are also popular for meditation, yoga and feng shui. Tradition attributes a particular energy to individual stones, such as calm and harmony to rose quartz, joy to citrine and a clear mind to rock crystal. Chakra sets contain seven coloured stones corresponding to the individual chakras.
Selenite and other soft minerals don't tolerate water, so only wipe them with a dry, soft cloth. Hard stones such as rock crystal or amethyst can be rinsed in lukewarm water. Amethyst and rose quartz, however, fade over time in direct sunlight. Dust is best removed from clusters and geodes with a soft brush.
