Overview
Yixing Tea Set 27-Piece with 110 ml Gaiwan, 150 ml Teapot and 40 ml Cups Ceramic and Solid Wood for Traditional Tea Preparation

The Yixing Kung Fu ceramic tea set is assembled for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony and includes both utensils and auxiliary tools on one tray. The 110 ml gaiwan with a lid and saucer is used for steeping loose leaf tea, from which the infusion is poured into the teapot. The teapot for blending tea has a capacity of 150 ml and is used to balance the strength of the infusion before pouring into cups. The solid wood tray features a gridded top surface, beneath which water from rinsing the utensils and warming the cups is collected. This set covers the entire process of tea preparation using the Kung Fu method without the need to purchase individual parts separately.

  • Gaiwan with lid — length 10 cm, height 8.5 cm and capacity 110 ml. Used for steeping loose tea and also replaces the teapot.
  • Teapot for blending tea — length 12 cm, height 6.5 cm and capacity 150 ml. The side handle makes it easier to pour the hot infusion.
  • Tea cups — capacity 40 ml and dimensions 6.2 x 3.2 cm, suitable for serving in small doses during the ceremony.
  • Tea strainer — dimensions 8 x 4.6 cm, catches leaves when pouring from the gaiwan into the teapot. The shape of the strainer allows it to be placed directly on the teapot.
  • Solid wood tray — the gridded surface drains excess water into the space below, keeping the work area dry.
  • Bamboo tools — used for handling hot cups and working with loose tea.
  • Wooden coasters — separate stands for cups, allowing tea to be placed outside the tray as well.
  • Usage — preparation of green, oolong, and pu-erh tea at home, during visits, or at gatherings focused on tea culture.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x solid wood tray
  • 1x 110 ml gaiwan
  • 1x 150 ml teapot for blending tea
  • 6x 40 ml tea cups
  • 1x tea strainer
  • 1x set of bamboo tools
  • 2x wooden coasters for cups

The set combines ceramic and solid wood, giving it a higher weight and stability on the table even when working with boiling water. The volumes of the utensils are matched, ensuring that the contents of the gaiwan correspond to filling the cups without unnecessary excess. The tray's grid captures water from warming the utensils, which is a common part of the Kung Fu method. The strainer measuring 8 x 4.6 cm separates leaves directly during pouring, so there is no need to strain the tea afterwards. The complete set is suitable for daily tea preparation and as a gift for those interested in tea culture.
