This music box captivates with its striking engraved design, which is located on the inside of the lid. The dominant element is a couple of stylised figures set in the shape of a heart. One figure has long hair and delicate features, while the other is depicted with a round head and a distinctly contrasting face. The entire design is crafted using fine line engraving, creating a clear contrast against the dark background.
The front of the box is complemented by a prominent decorative element in the form of a stylised skull with a characteristic shape and cut-out that corresponds to the overall style of the design inside. On the side, there is also a silhouette of a figure, which thematically enhances the design. Thanks to these details, the box presents itself as a cohesive visual whole with a unified theme.
Inside, there is a mechanical music movement, which is visible upon opening the lid. It operates on the principle of hand winding, so no power source or batteries are required. Simply turn the crank and the box will begin to play a melody. This method of operation is straightforward and allows for immediate use without any additional accessories.
The entire body of the box is made from plywood, which ensures strength while maintaining the natural character of the material. The black finish with contrasting engraving highlights individual details and allows the designs to stand out well. With compact dimensions of 6.4 × 5.2 × 4.2 cm, the box is suitable for smaller spaces and can be easily placed in various locations.
The design of the box serves as a visual representation of the relationship between two distinct figures, which are connected by a common symbol. As a result, the box can serve as a thematic decoration or a small gift. The combination of the mechanical movement and striking design creates an item that is both functional and visually interesting.
