A subtle wooden tray with an integrated central silicone surface offers a combination of natural material and modern functionality. The central dark rubber insert serves two purposes – it acts as a design contrast to the light wood and provides a non-slip surface that keeps anything placed on it in place. The slatted construction with small segments on both sides allows the tray to conform to the shape of the sofa arm without slipping off. The light shade of wood appears clean and airy, making the tray suitable for modern interiors, Scandinavian living rooms, and well-lit flats with minimalist furnishings.
Product features:
- Central silicone non-slip insert preventing items from sliding
- Slatted sides adjustable to the width of the armrest
- Light wood with a subtle natural appearance
- Flexible underside conforming to the shape of the seat
- Flat construction without raised edges for easy use
- Suitable for phone, mug, glass, dessert plate or book
- Stable positioning without the need for additional fastening
- Usable in the living room, library, playroom, or garden chair
- Aesthetic addition to the interior even when not in use
- Easy to clean – wood can be wiped with a damp cloth, silicone under running water
- Foldable to a flat position for space-saving storage
- Universal size suitable for most types of sofas and chairs
Contents: 1× wooden tray with silicone insert
A practical element of the entire design is the central silicone mat, which solves the classic problem of slippery wood – a phone or glass of wine can now be safely held in place even in situations where they would otherwise slide across a smooth surface. The slatted sides made of thin wooden strips bend over the side edge of the seat and help anchor the tray to the backrest with their own weight. When in use, simply place the tray on the arm of the sofa or chair, align it to the centre position, and then place everything you need within reach on it. It is suitable for resting a breakfast plate, dessert, glass of water, mobile phone, or glasses during afternoon reading. Its small dimensions mean that the tray does not take up unnecessary space and can easily be stored between furniture when not in use.
