Window Water Barrier 1 m x 5.5 cm Black Rubber Strip 135° Against Rain Self-Adhesive Protective Strip for Sliding Windows and Doors
This window water barrier measuring 1 m x 5.5 cm offers an even wider protective surface, suitable for larger window frames and terrace entries. The 135° angled design effectively directs water away from the window, preventing it from seeping into the joints. The black rubber construction ensures high durability and flexibility for year-round use. With its wider surface, the strip provides better coverage and is ideal for areas with heavy rainfall. It prevents the formation of wet spots on the windowsill and limits moisture or mould growth, contributing to a healthier home environment.
Installation is quick and requires no special tools. The strong self-adhesive layer securely adheres to smooth surfaces, ensuring long-term stability. The barrier is designed for sliding windows, balcony doors, and metal or aluminium frames. The black surface also naturally complements both dark and light frames. The width of 5.5 cm provides excellent stability even for larger structural windows, where a wider space for water drainage is necessary. It protects the window structure from repeated water ingress and extends the lifespan of the seals.
To install, follow these instructions:
- Clean the surface – the smoother and cleaner it is, the better the adhesion.
- Prepare the correct length – cut the strip to size.
- Remove the protective film and activate the self-adhesive surface.
- Press firmly along the entire length of the strip.
- Installation complete – the strip will start working immediately.
This model is suitable only for smooth materials – metal, glass, ceramic tiles, or aluminium frames. Do not use it on dusty or porous surfaces where the self-adhesive layer may not adhere properly. Due to its width, this barrier is a perfect choice for windows exposed to heavy rain or wind. It is unobtrusive, aesthetic, and highly effective, quickly becoming a part of your home during every rainy season.
