This window safety lock has the shape of a clamp that fits onto the window frame strip. On the side of the clamp, there is a screw that is tightened and loosened using a key. Once the screw is tightened, the lock holds firmly in place on the strip. The fitted lock then serves as a stopper that limits the window's opening. You choose the size of the clamp according to the width of the strip.

  • Shape of the clamp — the lock has a U-shape and fits onto the window strip. The clamp wraps around the strip on three sides. On the side of the clamp, there is a screw that pulls it towards the strip when tightened and secures it.
  • Installation with a key — place the clamp on the strip where the stopper is to be located. Then tighten the screw with the key until the lock holds firmly. To move or remove it, simply loosen the screw with the same key.
  • Size according to variant — variants 1 and 2 measure 3 x 1.6 cm and are suitable for strips up to 10 mm wide. Variants 3 and 4 measure 3 x 2.4 cm and are suitable for strips up to 16 mm wide. Therefore, measure the width of the strip on your window before selecting.
  • Function of the stopper — the lock fitted on the strip serves as a solid stopper. It limits the movement of the window sash and thus the opening of the window. Depending on where you place the lock on the strip, you determine how far the sash will move.
