This WiFi motor for chain roller blinds allows for easy automation of existing blinds, shades, and curtains without the need to replace the entire mechanism. The motor is installed directly on the chain of the blind and does not require any tubular motor or intervention in the window structure. It is designed for indoor use in homes, flats, and offices.
Control is carried out via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile application, which allows for opening, closing, and stopping the blinds from anywhere with internet access. The motor connects directly to the 2.4 GHz WiFi network and does not require any control hub. The package also includes a remote control, which allows for manual operation without the use of a mobile phone.
The motor supports voice control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri. Using voice commands, the blinds can be opened, closed, or stopped, or pre-set scenarios can be activated. In the application, it is possible to set time schedules, automatic opening and closing according to daily routines, or countdowns.
A significant advantage is the ability to set the upper and lower positions of the blind. These end positions remain stored even after power disconnection. The user can also define the percentage opening of the blind in the app, allowing for precise adjustment of the amount of light in the room.
The motor is powered via a mains adapter and does not contain a built-in battery. For proper operation, the adapter must be permanently connected to a power outlet. This solution eliminates the need for recharging and ensures stable operation without interruption.
The device is compatible with chain roller blinds, roller shutters, Roman blinds, day and night blinds, vertical blinds, and curtains with chain control. The maximum load of the motor is 10 kg and it is intended for blinds up to a maximum size of 2.5 x 3.5 metres.
