The welding fire-resistant hood is a protective gear for the head and neck designed for work involving flying sparks, heat, and radiant heat in workshops, foundries, on construction sites, and in home garages. It covers the crown, ears, neck, and shoulders thanks to the attached neck protection in the shape of a cape, effectively separating the skin from sparks, slag, and hot particles that would otherwise end up behind the collar of clothing, causing burns or long-term irritation. The outer fabric is made from fire-resistant material that does not ignite upon contact with sparks and only chars on the surface, thereby reducing the risk of fire spreading on the clothing and skin of the user. The interior consists of a moisture-absorbent nylon lining that absorbs sweat from the forehead and neck, keeping the hood drier and more comfortable even during prolonged work in a warm workshop or environment during the summer months. The neck circumference can be easily adjusted using adhesive Velcro, which adapts to various clothing sizes and allows for quick removal after finishing work or during a short break between tasks. The stitched fine hem protects the edges against fraying and tearing.

The hood is appreciated by welders, locksmiths, blacksmiths, metalworkers, workers in foundries, and hobby users who perform shorter welding or grinding tasks in workshops, garages, gardens, or summer houses. The fire-resistant fabric protects the skin of the head and neck from direct contact with sparks and slag, which would otherwise cause burns, singed hair, or long-term skin irritation during long shifts in production. The Velcro under the neck quickly fastens and unfastens, allowing you to put on or remove the hood during a short break without complicated handling of laces or buckles and without the need to remove other equipment. The absorbent lining significantly increases comfort during prolonged work in warm environments, as sweat is wicked away from the forehead and nape instead of trickling under clothing, into the eyes, or onto the auto-darkening lens of the mask, impairing visibility. For full protection of the eyes and face, the hood should be worn together with a welding shield or welding mask; the hood alone does not replace eye protection or filtration of radiant energy from the electric arc.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.
Product condition: you can also return goods that have been used or unpacked, or that no longer have their original packaging or tags
Costs: you pay the postage for sending the goods back to Spain; we charge no return fee
Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them
Exchanges

Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
