The 230 V wall socket is an electrical socket for indoor use in a typical home, office, or accommodation facility. The front panel is made of toughened glass in black with dimensions of 8.6 x 8.6 cm, and the internal mechanism is made of plastic. The maximum permissible current is 16 A. The socket is available in two variants: with a raised central protective pin (type E – French and Czech standard), or without the central pin with protective contacts on the sides (type F – Schuko, used in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and other countries). The socket is used in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, offices, hotels, and commercial spaces as a standard outlet point for the 230 V electrical network according to product information. The glass front panel has a smooth glossy surface that is easy to wipe with a damp cloth and does not trap dust in grooves like traditional plastic frames. The type E variant has a raised central protective pin (typical for the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, and Poland), which ensures that plugs with an opening for the protective contact always fit into the correct position and connect the protective conductor before the phase and neutral pins make contact. The type F variant (Schuko) does not have a raised pin; the protective contact is ensured by two metal springs on either side of the socket opening, into which the flat edge of the German plug fits. Installation is carried out into a typical flush mounting box of type 86 x 86 mm and involves connecting the phase, neutral, and protective conductor (PE) to the respective terminals inside the socket. For safety, the electrical circuit should be disconnected from the circuit breaker in the distribution board before installation, and the actual wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician according to local regulations.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
