With the VGA to HDMI adapter, you can connect a computer or laptop with a VGA output to a television, monitor, or projector with an HDMI input. It converts the analogue image to a digital signal at a resolution of up to 1080p. The audio, which the VGA interface does not transmit, is handled by a fixed audio cable with a 3.5 mm jack connector. You connect it to the audio output on the computer, and the sound then travels along with the image via HDMI. The VGA connector is located on the cable that comes out of the black body of the adapter.
- VGA Connector — the male VGA connector is located on the cable that comes out of the body of the adapter. You connect it to the VGA output on the computer and secure it with two screws to prevent it from coming loose.
- HDMI Output — on the body of the adapter is a female HDMI connector. You connect the HDMI cable leading to the television, monitor, or projector into this. The adapter transmits the image at a resolution of up to 1080p.
- Audio Cable — the audio cable is firmly attached to the adapter and measures approximately 84 cm. At the end, it has a male 3.5 mm jack connector, which you plug into the audio output on the computer. The sound then travels along with the image via HDMI.
- Design — the adapter has the shape of a flat black box from which the cable with the VGA connector emerges. The cables with the VGA and 3.5 mm jack connectors are a fixed part of it, so they are always at hand.
- Package Contents — 1x VGA to HDMI adapter with a fixed audio cable. HDMI cable is not included.
The VGA to HDMI adapter is a simple solution when you want to connect an older computer or laptop to a screen with an HDMI input. It converts the image to a HDMI digital signal at a resolution of up to 1080p, and thanks to the attached audio cable, it also transmits sound. The cables with the VGA and 3.5 mm jack connectors are a fixed part of the adapter, so you do not need to look for them separately. Only a single HDMI cable leads to the screen. The adapter is useful for presentations on a projector as well as for watching videos from a computer on a television.
