The VGA to HDMI adapter allows you to connect a computer or laptop with VGA output to a television, monitor, or projector with HDMI input. It converts the analogue image to a digital HDMI signal at a resolution of up to 1080p. The sound, which the VGA interface does not transmit, is brought to the adapter via a 3.5 mm jack connector using the included audio cable. The VGA connector is located on the cable coming from the body of the adapter, so the adapter does not have to hang directly from the computer. The body of the adapter is made from ABS plastic in a black finish.
- VGA Connector — the male VGA connector is located on the cable that comes from the body of the adapter. You plug it into the VGA output on the computer and secure it with two screws to prevent it from coming loose.
- HDMI Output — on the front of the adapter is a female HDMI connector. You connect an HDMI cable leading to the television, monitor, or projector into it. The adapter transmits the image at a resolution of up to 1080p.
- Audio Transmission — the adapter has a female 3.5 mm jack connector. You connect it to the audio output on the computer using the included 1 m audio cable, and the sound then travels along with the image via HDMI.
- Micro USB Connector — the adapter also features a female Micro USB connector. A 1 m USB to Micro USB cable is included in the package, which you connect to a USB port at the other end.
- Material and Design — the body of the adapter is made from ABS plastic. It has the shape of a flat black box with rounded edges.
- Package Contents — 1x VGA to HDMI adapter, 1x 1 m audio cable, 1x 1 m USB to Micro USB cable. HDMI cable is not included in the package.
You will appreciate the VGA to HDMI adapter when you want to connect an older computer or laptop with VGA output to a television or monitor that no longer has a VGA input. It converts the image to a digital HDMI signal at a resolution of up to 1080p and, thanks to the 3.5 mm jack connector, also transmits sound. In the package, you will find two cables of 1 m length, an audio cable and a USB to Micro USB cable. The VGA connector is secured with screws, ensuring it stays firmly in place. You can use the adapter for presentations on a projector as well as for watching videos from a computer on a television.
