Thermal Transfer Pad 85 x 45 x 1.25 mm with Conductivity 21 W/m.K Grey with Protective Film for Cutting to GPU, CPU and M.2 SSD

The thermal transfer pad with a thickness of 1.25 mm is inserted between the heating component and the cooler in places where there is a gap of over one millimetre between them. It is useful for maintaining graphics cards, processor coolers, M.2 SSDs, and laptops. Thanks to thermal conductivity of 21 W/m.K, it transfers heat from the chip to the metal body of the cooler. It is supplied as a grey rectangle 85 x 45 x 1.25 mm, from which pieces of any size can be prepared with scissors. Both sides are protected by a blue protective film.

  • Thickness 1.25 mm – must correspond to the distance between the chip and the cooler in the specific device. A reliable guide is the measured thickness of the original pad or information from the manufacturer's service documentation, ensuring the cooler properly contacts all components.
  • Area 85 x 45 mm – a larger piece for M.2 SSD can be cut from one piece, as well as several smaller rectangles for memory and power circuits. Remaining material can be saved for future repairs.
  • Heat Dissipation – conductivity of 21 W/m.K is designed for components that heat up significantly during gaming, rendering, or other prolonged loads. The pad conforms to the surface of the chip and fills its minor irregularities, preventing heat from passing through the air.
  • Non-conductive – the material is electrically non-conductive and the parameter table indicates breakdown voltage of at least 9.8 kV per 1 mm. Therefore, it can lie directly on components mounted on the circuit board.
  • Protective Film – the blue film protects the pad from dust and fingerprints during cutting and storage. It is removed only during assembly, gradually from each side, to prevent dirt from getting between the pad and the component.
  • Compatible Devices – graphics cards, processors, M.2 SSDs, laptops, gaming consoles, and chips on motherboards where the manufacturer anticipates a gap of 1.25 mm between the component and the cooler.

The grey pad 85 x 45 x 1.25 mm is suitable for replacing old pads that have hardened, cracked, or torn during disassembly of the device. First, the cooler is removed, remnants of the original material are eliminated, and the chip surfaces are cleaned. Then the pad is cut, the films are removed from the pieces, the pieces are placed on the components, and the cooler is returned to its place. Thickness 1.25 mm is intended for devices where the manufacturer anticipates this gap. The area of 85 x 45 mm is sufficient for multiple components, such as memory and power circuits of the graphics card or chips in a laptop.
