Thermal Conductive Sheet 85 x 45 x 2.5 mm with Conductivity 21 W/m.K Grey for Cutting for Memory and Power Supply of Graphics Cards and Consoles

The thermal conductive sheet with a thickness of 2.5 mm is designed for areas where there is a gap of two and a half millimetres between the cooler and the component. Such a distance is typically found above memory chips and power circuits of graphics cards or gaming consoles. The material with thermal conductivity of 21 W/m.K fills this gap and transfers heat from the component to the cooler. The grey sheet measures 85 x 45 x 2.5 mm and can be cut into pieces according to the shape of the chips using scissors. Both sides are covered with a blue protective film.

  • Thickness 2.5 mm – the thickness must correspond to the gap in the specific device. It is recommended to measure the original pad with a caliper or verify the specification in service documentation to ensure the cooler fits correctly on the main chip and surrounding components.
  • Sheet 85 x 45 mm – the area is sufficient for preparing several smaller pieces for memory and power transistors as well as one larger piece. The remaining material can be stored for future repairs or other devices with the same gap.
  • Heat Dissipation – conductivity of 21 W/m.K is suitable for components that become significantly heated during gaming or prolonged load. The sheet adapts to the surface of the chips and compensates for their minor irregularities, ensuring no air layer remains between the chip and the cooler.
  • Electrically Insulating – the material does not conduct electricity, and the specifications indicate dielectric strength of at least 9.8 kV per 1 mm. This allows it to be placed directly on the populated printed circuit board.
  • Blue Film – protects the sheet from dust and fingerprints during cutting and storage. It is gradually removed during installation, first from the side facing the chip and finally from the side facing the cooler.
  • Suitable Devices – graphics cards, gaming consoles, laptops, M.2 SSDs, processors, and chips on motherboards where the manufacturer accounts for a 2.5 mm gap between the component and the cooler.

The grey thermal conductive sheet 85 x 45 x 2.5 mm is a practical material for cooling repairs when the original pads have hardened, cracked, or been damaged during the removal of the cooler. First, the cooler is removed, remnants of the old pads are cleaned off, and the surfaces of the chips are cleaned. Then, the sheet is cut into pieces, the film is removed from each piece, and the pieces are placed on the components where the cooler will be reattached. Thickness 2.5 mm is intended for devices where the manufacturer accounts for this gap. From one sheet, parts are prepared for memory and power circuits of the graphics card or console.
