Thermal Conductive Pad 85 x 45 x 0.5 mm with Thermal Conductivity 21 W/m.K Grey Cuttable for Processor Graphics Chip and M.2 SSD

The thermal conductive pad measuring 85 x 45 mm offers a larger area from which larger pieces can be cut for processors, graphics chips, or entire M.2 SSD drives. With a thickness of 0.5 mm, it is designed for areas with a small gap between the component and the cooler. The material with thermal conductivity of 21 W/m.K transfers heat from the chip to the cooler and fills small irregularities on both surfaces. The pad is grey and can be easily trimmed to the required shape with scissors. It is protected on both sides by a blue removable film.

  • Area 85 x 45 mm – the rectangular format allows for cutting either one larger piece, for example, for the controller and memory chips of M.2 SSDs, or several smaller pieces for individual components of the graphics card or motherboard. The remaining material can be stored for later repairs.
  • Thickness 0.5 mm – the thin layer is suitable where the cooler is positioned closely above the component. Before replacement, it is advisable to measure the thickness of the original pad to ensure the cooler makes proper contact with all chips simultaneously.
  • Conductivity 21 W/m.K – this value is intended for components that heat up significantly under load, such as memory and power supply of the graphics card or controllers of fast SSD drives. The pad also compensates for small height differences between adjacent chips.
  • Electrically Non-Conductive – the material does not conduct electricity, and the specification table states breakdown voltage of at least 9.8 kV per 1 mm. Therefore, the pad can be placed directly on the mounted components on the printed circuit board.
  • Blue Protective Film – covers both sides of the pad and protects the surface from dust and fingerprints during cutting. It is removed only when applying to the component and before installing the cooler.
  • Wide Application – processors, graphics cards, M.2 SSD drives, chips on motherboards, laptops, gaming consoles, and other electronics where it is necessary to transfer heat to the cooler. However, it is always essential that the thickness of 0.5 mm matches the gap in the given device.

The grey pad 85 x 45 x 0.5 mm is a practical material for maintaining cooling in a computer, laptop, or console. The area of 85 x 45 mm is particularly useful when it is necessary to cover a larger chip or a whole range of components with one piece. During replacement, the cooler is first removed, remnants of the old pad are cleared away, and the surface is cleaned. The pad is then cut, the film is removed, it is applied to the components, and the cooler is returned to its place. Because it is cuttable, parts can be prepared precisely according to the dimensions of the individual chips from one piece.
