Overview
Thermal Conductive Pad 120 x 20 x 0.5 mm with Conductivity 21 W/m.K Grey Cuttable for Cooling GPU and CPU and Graphics Card Chips

The thermal conductive pad is used to transfer heat between the chip and the cooler in areas where there is a small gap between them. It is most commonly used during the maintenance of graphics cards, where worn pads on memory chips and the power cascade are replaced. The pad has thermal conductivity of 21 W/m.K and fills in the unevenness between the component surface and the cooler. It is supplied as a strip measuring 120 x 20 mm with a thickness of 0.5 mm, from which pieces of the required size can be cut with scissors. The pad is grey and is protected on both sides by a blue protective film.

  • Thermal Conductivity – the value of 21 W/m.K determines how well the pad conducts heat from the chip to the cooler. It is applicable to components that heat up significantly under load, such as graphics card memory. The pad also compensates for the different heights of components that thermal paste would not fill.
  • Thickness 0.5 mm – the thin pad is designed for areas with a small gap between the chip and the cooler. Before replacement, it is advisable to measure the thickness of the original pad, as too thin a pad will not make proper contact and too thick a pad may prevent the cooler from being pressed against the main chip.
  • Cuttable Strip – the size of 120 x 20 mm allows the pad to be cut precisely to the size of individual chips. Thus, one strip can cover several smaller components. Standard sharp scissors are sufficient for cutting.
  • Protective Films – both sides are covered with a film that protects the surface from dust and fingerprints. The films are removed just before applying the pad to the component.
  • Electrical Properties – the pad does not conduct electric current and according to the parameter table has a breakdown voltage of at least 9.8 kV per mm. Therefore, it is also suitable for components on printed circuit boards.
  • Application – in addition to graphics cards and processors, the pad is also applicable to SSD drives, chips on motherboards, laptops, or gaming consoles. However, it is always necessary for the thickness of 0.5 mm to match the gap in the given device.

Package Contents:

  • 1x thermal conductive pad 120 x 20 mm

The thermal conductive pad 120 x 20 x 0.5 mm is a practical material for maintenance and repair of cooling in computers, laptops, and consoles. Because it is cuttable, it easily adapts to various chip sizes. During replacement, the remnants of the old pad are first removed, the surface is cleaned, the cut pad is placed on the chip, and only then is the top film removed and the cooler is installed. The conductivity of 21 W/m.K and thickness of 0.5 mm are suitable for areas with a small gap between the component and the cooler. The grey pad is ideal as a replacement for worn pads on both graphics cards and processors.
