Overview
Taxodium ascendens Seeds 20 pcs Deciduous Coniferous Tree with Green Delicate Needles For the Garden and by the Water and Pond

Taxodium ascendens, also known as the bald cypress, is a deciduous coniferous tree that growers recognise for its soft green needles and regular pyramidal crown shape with a straight upright trunk. The tree produces fine green needles that turn rusty in autumn and then fall off, so its appearance changes significantly throughout the year, making it interesting in every season. It grows as a mature tree suitable for gardens as well as for wet areas, where it tolerates even wetter soil that most trees do not prefer. It is an ornamental coniferous tree, whose cones are not consumed, and it is grown for its appearance. The pack contains 20 seeds from which you can grow your own saplings and gradually select the best specimens.

Key features:

  • Soft green needles — the tree produces fine soft green needles, which are the main ornamental part and turn rusty in autumn.
  • Pyramidal crown shape — the tree has a regular pyramidal crown and a straight upright trunk with evenly growing branches.
  • Deciduous conifer — Taxodium ascendens is a deciduous coniferous tree that colours its needles in autumn and then sheds them.
  • Cones are not consumed — this is an ornamental coniferous tree, whose cones are not consumed and it is grown for its appearance.
  • Striking autumn colouring — the needles turn rusty brown shades before falling, thus decorating the garden even in autumn.
  • Suitable for wet areas and by water — the tree tolerates wet and marshy locations and is suitable for water bodies, ponds, and regular gardens.
  • Mature long-lived tree — the plant grows as a mature long-lived tree suitable as a specimen in the garden or by water features.
  • Low maintenance in sunny locations — the tree is relatively low maintenance in sunny and moist locations, making it suitable for beginners.
  • Very large seed supply — the pack of 20 seeds provides a very large supply for sowing a greater number of saplings or repeated sowing.
  • Growing from seeds — you have control over the entire development of the sapling from germination to a mature tree and can adapt it to your conditions and location.

Contents of the pack:

  • 1x pack of Taxodium ascendens seeds (20 pcs)
