The TANKE chain tensioner is designed for bikes with one speed, specifically for single speed drives. It is particularly suitable for mountain bikes of the MTB type and for Dirt Jump bikes. The body of the tensioner is metal and the pulleys are CNC machined. The tensioner has two pulleys through which the chain passes, and a spring that presses the arm with the pulleys against the chain. The arm features the TANKE logo and the body has milled lightening holes.
- For one speed — the tensioner is intended for drives with one speed. It maintains chain tension on bikes where there is no derailleur to tension the chain.
- Metal body — both the arm and the cage with pulleys are metal. The arm and cage feature milled holes that lighten the body.
- CNC machined pulleys — the tensioner has two CNC machined pulleys with teeth, through which the chain passes. The pulleys are housed in a cage that rotates around an axis with a spring.
- Spring — between the arm and the cage with pulleys is a coiled spring. This presses the pulleys against the chain and helps keep the chain taut even when riding off-road.
- Arm construction — the arm of the tensioner is connected to the pulley cage via a pivot joint with a spring. This allows the cage with pulleys to pivot and adjust to changes in chain length while riding. The pulleys are secured in the cage with nuts and bolts.
- Mounting — the tensioner is attached with a screw at the end of the arm. Additional screws with an internal hexagon are used to connect the individual parts of the tensioner.
- Usage — the tensioner is suitable for riders on MTB and Dirt Jump bikes who use a one speed drive. It can also be used when converting a geared bike to single speed or as a replacement for an old tensioner.
- Installation — before installation, ensure that the tensioner can be attached to your frame. After installation, adjust the position of the arm so that the pulleys correctly guide the chain and the spring maintains its tension. If you are inexperienced with drivetrain modifications, entrust the installation to a bike service.
- Maintenance — regularly clean the tensioner of mud and dust, especially after riding off-road. Also check the tightness of the screws and the wear of the pulley teeth. Keep the joint with the spring clean so that the cage with pulleys can move freely.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
