Tamarindus indica, known as tamarind, is a tropical fruit tree that you can grow from your own seeds. The plant has delicate pinnate leaves and produces brown pods with a sweet and sour pulp in the wild. The package contains 10 pieces of seeds suitable for home sowing. Tamarind is often grown as a house bonsai or as an exotic plant for the greenhouse and conservatory. Due to its relatively easy germination, it is also popular among beginning exotic plant growers.
