Overview
Tacca Nivea Seeds 5 pcs White Bat Flower Exotic Houseplant with White Bracts and Dark Flowers for Greenhouse Cultivation

Tacca nivea, known as the white bat flower, is a less common relative of the dark-flowered bat flowers. From the seeds, an exotic houseplant with striking white bracts and dark flowers will grow, from which long thread-like tendrils emerge. The package contains 5 seeds for home sowing. The plant thrives in warmth and humidity, ideally in a greenhouse or conservatory away from direct sunlight. Its unusual appearance will particularly appeal to collectors of exotic plants.

Key features:

  • White bat flower — light bracts above dark flowers
  • Long thread-like tendrils — a characteristic feature of the Tacca genus
  • Exotic houseplant — thrives in warmth and high humidity
  • Placement in partial shade — does not tolerate direct midday sun
  • Sowing from seeds — suitable for both collectors and experienced growers
  • Contents 5 seeds — for several sowing attempts

The white bat flower originates from humid tropical habitats, and therefore requires constant warmth, high humidity, and a shadier location. For sowing, a loose humus substrate with added peat that retains water well is suitable. Keep the seeds evenly moist and warm, as germination can be slow and irregular. A closed mini greenhouse is recommended to maintain high humidity around the seeds. After germination, protect the seedlings from drying out and grow them in bright shade.

Contents of the package:

  • 5x Tacca nivea plant seed

Tacca nivea impresses with the contrast of light white bracts and dark flowers with long tendrils. Indoors, it requires a warm and humid environment, such as a greenhouse, terrarium, or conservatory. Growing from seeds requires more patience, but the resulting plant is all the more interesting. The package with 5 seeds offers room for several sowing attempts. It will be particularly appreciated by lovers of unusual tropical species.
