The TCT straight cutter measuring 8 x 38 mm is a three-blade grooving cutter designed for deep grooves, half grooves, and cut-outs in wood. The cutting diameter is 8 mm and the blade length is 38 mm, allowing the cutter to handle thick boards and beams. The blades are made of tungsten carbide and the cutter is fitted with a 1/2 inch shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a light grey transition between the shank and the blades.
- Groove width 8 mm — the cutter creates a groove 8 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for strong joints and recessing thicker parts.
- Cutting depth up to 38 mm — the long blades allow for cutting to a depth of 38 mm. Always groove such deep grooves gradually in multiple passes, increasing the depth in smaller increments.
- Three cutting blades — during rotation, three blades engage in the cut sequentially, each removing a smaller chip. Therefore, the cut is smoother than with cutters with fewer blades.
- Tungsten carbide blades — TCT stands for tungsten carbide cutting edges. This material is harder than tool steel and is commonly used for wood and chipboard cutters.
- 12.7 mm collet — the 1/2 inch diameter shank fits into a 12.7 mm collet. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Tool length — the total length of the cutter is 92 mm. The thick shank provides the long cutter with the necessary rigidity, and the depth of insertion into the collet should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- Routers, tables, and CNC — the cutter can be used in a hand-held router, milling table, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The machine should have a collet for 1/2 inch and sufficient travel.
- Thick beams and boards — the cutter is designed for wood and multi-layer chipboard. The long blades are useful for thick beams and boards, for example, when making furniture, frames, and wooden constructions.
- Working with a long cutter — do not overload the long tool with great depth in one pass and choose a reasonable feed rate. Secure the workpiece firmly and use protective eyewear while working.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
