The bombilla is a special straw with a strainer designed for drinking Yerba maté. The lower end features a spoon-shaped strainer with tiny holes, while the upper end is curved and flattened into a mouthpiece. You insert the bombilla into a container with leaves soaked in water and sip the infusion directly through it. The strainer holds back the leaves, preventing them from entering your mouth. The bombilla is made of stainless steel.
- Strainer at the end — the bottom part of the bombilla is widened into a spoon shape and has a number of tiny holes. The infusion passes through them into the straw while the leaves remain in the container. This allows you to drink maté directly from the soaked leaves.
- Curved mouthpiece — the upper end of the straw is slightly curved and flattened into a mouthpiece. The curvature makes it comfortable to drink from the container while the bombilla can remain resting on its edge.
- How to use — pour yerba leaves into the container and cover them with water. Insert the bombilla with the strainer end down to the bottom and sip the infusion through the mouthpiece. The bombilla can remain in the container throughout the drinking process.
- Not just for maté — you can also use the bombilla for other loose leaf teas, such as green tea. Just place it in a cup or glass with the soaked leaves.
- Stainless steel — the bombilla is entirely made of stainless steel and measures 16 x 2.2 cm. After use, simply rinse it with water to prevent residue from the leaves from settling in the strainer and straw.

The bombilla is suitable for anyone who enjoys maté or another loose leaf tea without straining. The spoon-shaped strainer holds back the leaves, and the curved mouthpiece makes drinking easier. Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.
Product condition: you can also return goods that have been used or unpacked, or that no longer have their original packaging or tags
Costs: you pay the postage for sending the goods back to Spain; we charge no return fee
Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them
Exchanges
Deadline: 30 days from receiving your parcel (exchange for a different size, colour or variant)
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie, giving your order number and the variant you want – once we have checked that it is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange, including the address to which you should send the original item
Costs: you pay to send the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge
Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
