The bombilla is a metal straw with a filter designed for drinking Yerba mate tea directly from a vessel filled with leaves. At the bottom end, it has a spoon-shaped filter with small holes, and the top end of the straw is slightly curved. When drinking, the infusion passes through the filter into the straw, while the leaves remain at the bottom of the container. This means you do not need to strain or transfer the mate. The bombilla is made of stainless steel and measures 15.5 cm.
- Filter at the end — the bottom end of the bombilla is flared into a flat spoon with small holes. The holes allow the infusion to pass through but retain the mate leaves. Thus, the leaves stay in the container and do not enter your mouth.
- Curved mouthpiece — the top end of the straw is slightly curved, making it comfortable to drink from the container. During drinking, the bombilla can rest against the edge of the vessel.
- Preparing mate — you place the mate leaves into the container and pour water over them. Insert the bombilla with the filter end down to the bottom and sip the infusion through the mouthpiece. After drinking, remove it and rinse with water.
- Not just for mate — the bombilla can also be used for other loose teas or drinks with herbs and fruits. The filter retains leaves and small pieces of herbs.
- Material and length — the bombilla is made of stainless steel and measures 15.5 cm. It fits in a mug, glass, or mate container.

The stainless steel bombilla is a simple tool for preparing mate directly in the container, without straining or transferring. The leaves remain at the bottom while you sip the infusion through the spoon-shaped filter. It also works for other loose teas and drinks with herbs. Thanks to its slim shape, you can easily store it in a drawer or take it with you.

Once you have sent the parcel, send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number to info@lunzo.ie – this lets us process your return as quickly as possible and refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.
Product condition: you can also return goods that have been used or unpacked, or that no longer have their original packaging or tags
Costs: you pay the postage for sending the goods back to Spain; we charge no return fee
Refund: within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal; we may withhold the refund until the goods have arrived back or until you provide proof that you have sent them

Costs: you pay to send the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge
Faulty or damaged goods
Period for claiming a fault: up to six years from delivery of the goods – within the first 30 days you can reject a faulty product and ask for a full refund, and for the first 12 months a fault is presumed to have been present on delivery
How: write to us at info@lunzo.ie and attach a photograph or a video of the goods – in most cases you do not have to send the goods back
Remedies: a replacement with a new item, a reasonable price reduction, or a refund of the full purchase price
