This set of sensors is designed as a replacement solution for the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS – Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) in selected BMW and MINI vehicles. The sensors continuously measure the tyre pressure and help to promptly alert to slow air leaks, under-inflation, or abnormal conditions that may affect driving stability. With the correct frequency and compatible design, they are suitable for replacing a damaged sensor as well as for changing wheel sets. Always compare the part number and compatibility with your vehicle before purchase to ensure installation and subsequent pairing proceed without complications.

It is important to know that the sensors are supplied as ready-made pieces, but after installation, they usually need to be activated using diagnostics (so-called "learning" of the system). In some cases, a diagnostic interface OBD II (on-board diagnostic socket of the vehicle) is used. For safety reasons, installation of the sensors is recommended to be carried out by a professional service.

  • 1) remove the valve cap and release the pressure from the tyre,
  • 2) demount the tyre from the rim,
  • 3) loosen the sensor/valve fastening and remove the original part,
  • 4) insert the new valve with the sensor, tighten the fastening,
  • 5) remount the tyre and then perform activation in the vehicle (diagnostics/learning procedure).
