The self-adhesive window and door seal with Profile I is a simple way to seal drafty gaps and reduce draughts in your home. The sealing tape is made from flexible EPDM rubber with a fine foam structure that compresses when the window or door is closed, filling the gap. Profile I, measuring 9 x 2 mm, is a flat profile shaped like the letter I, suitable for very narrow gaps, such as those found in plastic and wooden windows and doors with a small space between the frame and the leaf. The reverse side is equipped with an adhesive layer covered with a protective film, allowing for installation without tools and without drilling. The roll consists of two strips of 2.5 m, which are joined lengthwise. Before sticking, simply tear them apart to obtain a total length of 5 m of sealing. The strips can be trimmed to size with ordinary scissors to fit the dimensions of the frame.
The seal is suitable for flats, family homes, holiday cottages, and offices. It can be used wherever windows or doors have stopped closing properly, and cold air can be felt around the frame. Thanks to the flexible material, the seal remains pliable, allowing windows and doors to continue to open and close comfortably.
