Overview
RLink J2534 Pass-Thru Diagnostic Interface with CAN-FD DoIP and D-PDU Support in Black and Green for Vehicle Programming and Diagnostics

The RLink J2534 diagnostic interface serves as a pass-thru adapter between the vehicle and a laptop with diagnostic software from vehicle manufacturers. It operates according to the J2534 standard and supports all J2534 protocols including the newer CAN-FD, DoIP, and D-PDU. It enables diagnostics and reprogramming of control units at the manufacturer level, for example in ODIS, Xentry, ISTA, or Techstream programmes. Drivers are installed on the computer with a single click. The interface is intended for both brand service centres and independent garages.

  • Functions – diagnostics of all systems, bi-directional control, reading manufacturer-specific data, ECU coding, service operations, and activation of hidden functions. The range of functions depends on the manufacturer software used.
  • German Brands – Audi and VW in the ODIS programme (diagnostics since 2004, programming since 1996), Mercedes-Benz in the Xentry pass-thru and DAS programmes (diagnostics since 2018, programming from 2008 to 2022), and BMW in the ISTA programme (diagnostics from 2006 to 2020, programming from 2004 to 2020).
  • Asian Brands – Toyota, Lexus, and Scion (Techstream, GTS+), Honda and Acura (i-HDS, HDS), Subaru (SSM4), Nissan (C3P R2R), Mitsubishi (MUT-3 SE), and Mazda (MDRS) with diagnostics and programming. Kia (KMA) and Hyundai (HMA) with diagnostics since 2018 and Baojun (VDS).
  • American and Other Brands – GM (SPS, TLC, GDS2, Tech2Win) with diagnostics since 1996, Chrysler (Witech 2.0), Ford (FDRS for vehicles from 2018, FJDS for 1996 to 2018), Land Rover (SDD, from 2006 to 2017), and Volvo (VIDA).
  • Protocols and Drivers – all J2534 protocols including CAN-FD, DoIP, and D-PDU, with GM also supporting the PDU standard. Drivers are installed with a single click.
  • Design and Cables – compact body with an OBD connector, black sides, and an olive green top panel with three status indicator lights. It connects to the laptop with a 1.8 m USB-C cable, and an OBD2 extension adapter of 37 cm can be used for the vehicle's socket.

Package Contents:

  • 1x RLink J2534 diagnostic interface
  • 1x 1.8 m USB-C cable
  • 1x 37 cm OBD2 extension adapter

The RLink J2534 allows the garage to work with diagnostic software from various manufacturers through a single interface. In addition to diagnostics of all systems, it also handles reprogramming of control units, coding, and service operations. Support for CAN-FD and DoIP protocols extends its use to newer vehicles. The range of supported model years varies by brand and software used, so it is advisable to verify it before use according to the overview above. The 1.8 m USB-C cable and OBD2 extension adapter facilitate connection even in situations where the diagnostic socket is less accessible.
