The wall data socket is an internal socket with one output for internet cable with RJ45 connector, designed for fixed computer network wiring in apartments, offices, hotels or commercial spaces. The front panel is made of toughened glass in black measuring 8.6 x 8.6 cm, the internal mechanism is made of plastic. In the centre of the panel, there is a raised plastic frame with an opening for inserting the RJ45 connector, into which a standard network cable with a crimped connector fits. On the back of the socket, there are terminals for connecting structured cabling, which must be purchased separately and connected according to the colour scheme (T568A or T568B). The socket is mounted into a standard flush mounting installation box measuring 86 x 86 mm.

The socket is used in residential rooms, studies, offices, hotels and commercial spaces, where a category 5e, 6 or 6a data cable is installed for connecting a computer, television, IP phone, gaming console or network printer to wired internet. The glass front panel visually matches the rest of the range of sockets with the same design, allowing power sockets, switches and data sockets to be combined in one room with a uniform appearance. The smooth glass surface is easy to wipe with a damp cloth and does not collect dust in grooves like traditional plastic frames. During installation, the data cable is connected according to structured cabling rules (T568A or T568B), all eight wires must be terminated into the terminals on the back of the device, no drilling or crimping of the connector on the panel side is required. For safety, the electrical circuit in the vicinity should be disconnected before installation, and the actual wiring should be performed by a person with electrical qualifications or experience in low-voltage installations.
